2017 Annual Campaign – April Update

We are now at 45.8% of our goal for the year! The past two years, we’ve seen donations shifted from the MLFC to the Smyth County RAM clinic during March and April. With an increase in patients at the RAM clinic and at the MLFC, both organizations need continued support.

Please consider making a contribution to the Mel Leaman Free Clinic to help us provide high-quality, compassionate, free health care to the underserved in our community. Even the smallest donations have an impact!

The 2017 Annual Campaign supports our operating budget, necessary medical supplies, and new health care programs, including women’s health, dental hygiene, physical and occupational rehab, a new mobile medical unit, and more. Our total goal is $365,000, which will include funding we receive from annual partners such as the Virginia Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, the Virginia Health Care Foundation, Smyth County, and the Town of Marion.
